Part-Time Baker/Decorator

We are seeking a creative, dedicated, and self-motivated Baker/Decorator to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, baking, icing, and decorating cakes and other baked goods while maintaining our standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. You’ll work alongside our bakery team in a fast-paced, supportive environment where attention to detail and pride in your work are valued.

Responsibilities / Expectations:

  • Prepare, bake, ice, and decorate cakes and a variety of baked goods according to recipes and standards.

  • Accurately measure and prepare ingredients.

  • Stack, fill, and ice cakes evenly and smoothly for decorating.

  • Follow recipes and maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate when ingredients or supplies need to be restocked.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.

  • Work efficiently while meeting daily production needs and deadlines.

  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the bakery team.

  • Be proactive and pay close attention to detail throughout the baking and decorating process.

  • Assist with additional baking, decorating, prep, and cleaning tasks as needed.

  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of baking and cake decorating experience required.

  • Professional or strong hands-on home baking experience accepted.

  • Ability to accurately read and follow recipes and convert measurements.

  • Experience using ovens, stand mixers, and standard bakery equipment.

  • Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain consistent attendance.

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Must be available to work weekends.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
