We’re Tracy and Francisco — a husband and wife duo, college sweethearts (go Trojans!) who share a deep passion for baking and bringing people together through food.
Our bakery is a reflection of our childhoods and our duo-identities — both of us American-born, shaped by different cultural influences. Tracy was born and raised in Hawaii by Chinese parents who immigrated from Vietnam. Francisco is a Los Angeles native, born to parents who immigrated from Mexico. We focus on ingredients that are common across Southeast Asian, Mexican, and Hawaiian cuisine and find natural opportunities to create fusion desserts that feel both new and nostalgic. At the same time, we love being a bakery that can introduce culturally specific treats to new audiences, helping people discover something special and maybe even a little unexpected. In everything we make, we hope to celebrate our roots while building bridges through flavor.
We may be the heart of the bakery, but we’re supported every day by our incredible family. Tracy’s mom has been a constant influence on her baking since childhood, and now she bakes alongside us in the kitchen, helping bring our ideas to life. Francisco’s cousin Mario and his girlfriend Lili run the front of house and work hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.
